Occupational Therapy
OT can help children improve cognitive,
physical and motor skills and, in turn, enhance self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment. Our occupational therapists can evaluate your child’s skills for playing, school performance and daily activities and compare them with what is developmentally appropriate for a given age. Therapy can be provided to help your child work on fine motor skills, hand-eye coordina- tion and to learn basic tasks such as getting dressed and brushing teeth. Help is also available with behavioral disorders and anger management. We can teach children with physical disabilities the skills needed to feed themselves, use a computer or improve handwriting legibility, as well as evaluate the need for specialized equipment or communication aids. If your child might benefit from occupational therapy, WE CAN HELP. Call 859-572-0430 today for an evaluation. |
