LINDA WEBSTER, MA, CCC-SLP
I received my Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Cincinnati in 2001 and have a Bachelor’s degree in English/Humanities from the University of Louisville. I have spent the majority of my career working with children, in the schools, private practice, and outpatient rehab, and especially love helping First Steps and elementary-age children. I love helping children to communicate effectively, seeing the light in their eyes when they finally figure out how to say that hard sound or put the right words together. In my spare time I like to read, cook, and play games with my husband and two daughters and volunteer in the preschool department of my church. KERENSA SMITH, MS, CCC-SLP I completed my Master’s Degree at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. I have worked in a local school system, as well as First Steps and clinic and am certified in Integrative Listening Systems. I enjoy all age groups with an emphasis on language disorders. In my free time, I am a mother to five children with an age range of 26 to 5. I enjoy camping, reading, going to the beach, and making memories with my family. EMMA SHERIDAN, MS, CCC-SLP My name is Emma Sheridan and I recently became the owner of Speech/Language Therapy Services, LLC. I have over 11 years of experience providing speech therapy for both adults and children and over 11 years with this business. I obtained my master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2012. I have a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). I have worked with children who have both oral and written expression impairments, receptive language based impairments, apraxia of speech, articulation and phonological impairments, and children with fluency disorders. I also have experience using and programming a variety of AAC devices and assisting adults and children during feeding therapy. I have provided both individual and group pragmatic language therapy sessions and have assisted with organizing and implementing summer social groups for children. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. TY HAGGARD, MA, CCC-SLP I completed my Bachelors and Masters degrees at Eastern Kentucky University. I am a member of the Kentucky Speech-Language Hearing Association (KSHA) and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). For the past 9 years, I have worked in both clinical and school settings with a variety of clients. I have experience with language and phonological disorders, articulation, fluency, apraxia of speech, autism, assistive technology, stroke patients, and transgender voice therapy. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading. CRISTY BUCHANAN, MS, CCC-SLP I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Xavier University and my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. I decided to pursue a career in speech-language pathology because I wanted to have the opportunity to work with children and have an impact in their lives. I have enjoyed working in a variety of settings including schools, private practice, and early intervention. In my free time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband and two young boys. JENNIFER EDWARDS, COTA/L Hi, I’m Jennifer Edwards, COTA/L. I received my Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from Shawnee State University. I am a National Board Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and am licensed to practice in both Kentucky and Ohio. I have 19 years of school-based experience working with students ages 3-21. I also have 12 years of experience working in a nursing home/rehabilitation setting as well as almost 2 years of pediatric clinic based experience. I am very excited to join the team at Speech/Language Therapy Service and look forward to meeting, working with and assisting in your child’s growth and development. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, playing, traveling and exploring with my husband, son, dog and other family and friends. BROOKE WASSON, OT My name is Brooke Wasson. I am a pediatric OT in Winchester, KY. I have been practicing in the Clark County school system for 19 years. Before that I worked in a hospital setting for 2 years where I gained clinical outpatient experience along with long term care and contract home health. Along with my love of OT, my husband and I stay very busy with our 3 very active children. We love traveling, camping, and pretty much all things outdoors. Erin Gilbert, MA, CCC-SLP My name is Erin Gilbert, and I'm a pediatric SLP. I have experience in early intervention, school-based speech therapy, and outpatient speech therapy settings. I love spending time with my family! Mary Katherine Dally, MS, CCC-SLP, ATP My name is Mary Katherine Dally. I have experience as the SLP in the ALS clinic, focus on AAC evaluations, voice banking, and no-tech/low tech communication. I have experience working for a dedicated speech device company as a solutions consultant, and have experience in both the school-based and outpatient pediatric therapy settings. |
